We are very pleased with Genesus sow. As we phase our old genetics out, we continue to see a significant increase in liveborn and weaned per sow.

We are pleased with our Genesus gilts. They are even tempered, sound and healthy animals. They are good milkers and raise their pigs well. Genesus has a good sow. Their live born is incomparable, easy to earn 12-12.5 with a top of the line farrowing crate. The Genesus team is helping me a lot.

Genesus sows have treated us with big litter. Loving the numbers of the replacement gilts, with close to 15 born alive. 29 pigs per sow per year and have increased constantly for the last 4 years.

We are very impressed with the born alive on these animals on both our breeds. On FI’s the mothering ability is great. The birth weights have come up at least half a pound as well, which means a heavier piglet at weaning and faster days to market! Genesus is where it’s at!!!

The Genesus program has been very profitable for our farm. It is an easy sow to manage with good numbers all throughout the program and the end product sells itself.

Genesus sows produce large first class litters. A number of our sows wean 13 or 14 piglets constantly each parity. Most sows wean at least 7 litters before they are culled. They are strong and durable.
