Genesus is very pleased to announce a recent agreement with Tianzow of China.

Tianzow is a successful producer in China, with over 30 joint-venture partnerships across China, totaling over 80,000 sows. They are also known for their complete system in pig production, management,  and patented barn design.

Tianzow is a genetic distributor in China, and has entered into a long-term agreement with Genesus for genetic support. The company originally started in 2008 as a joint-venture partnership with Hylife of Manitoba, Canada. They remain partners to this day.

Genesus has the world’s largest registered purebred herd and is the largest exporter of purebred swine in North America. The establishment of this nucleus herd again increases Genesus’ footprint in China, where we have been the largest importer in 3 of the past 5 years.

The focus of Genesus on meat quality and highly prolific, high appetite females is very well suited for all markets and very well received in the developing Asian market.
